Hiroshima Remembered in Oak Ridge

The Y12 Nuclear Weapons Complex which enriched the uranium fuel for the Little Boy bomb that destroyed Hiroshima, Japan in 1945 was the site of a Names and Remembrance ceremony on August 6, 2014. Workers arriving at the plant found a peaceful vigil and a chain of peace lanterns across from the main entrance to the bomb plant.
